Officer Applications: 2019-2020

Hey guys! If you haven't heard, UNICEF officer applications for the next school year have been released!! HERE is the link to the application, and it will be due this Wednesday. It only takes a few minutes to fill out, and we encourage all our members to apply! We apologize for not going more in-depth about the different officer positions during the last meeting, so here is some more information:

Co-Presidents (Seniors only): Co-Presidents are responsible for planning UNICEF's agenda throughout the year, running meetings and events, and overseeing the other officers. Presidents will have to dedicate a significant amount of their free time to UNICEF.

Vice President of Communications (Juniors and seniors only): The VP of Communications sends out announcements to all our members through the Remind. They will also be updating this website and contacting VTV if we need to promote an event.

Vice President of Finance (Juniors and seniors only): The VP of Finance is in charge of keeping track of all the funds we raise throughout the year. They also contact local businesses to host fundraisers, and send the funds we have raised to the national UNICEF organization.

Director of Social Media: This is a brand new position!! The Director of Social Media will be in charge of updating our Instagram and Twitter by posting announcements as well as pictures from meetings. They will also be engaging with other UNICEF clubs through social media.

Director of Arts: The Director of Arts takes pictures during club meetings and events, and is also in charge of making flyers/posters.

Director of Membership: The Director of Membership keeps track of attendance during meetings, as well as service hours.

Once again, applications are due Wednesday, and all applicants will have a quick and non-stressful interview the week before spring break. Only a couple people have applied so far, so be sure to do so!! And don't worry if you feel like you'll be inexperienced or confused, we're definitely going to train everyone so our club is well-prepared for next year. See you guys at our meeting tomorrow!
