Meeting Recap: 3/22/23

Hey UNICEF members! Officer applications for the 2023-2024 school year are now available on our Remind as well as our Instagram bio, so if you are interested in becoming an officer for our club, please apply by Friday March 31st @11:59 p.m! Interviews will be most likely held the week after spring break. At today's meeting, we celebrated World Water Day and learned about what UNICEF is doing to help countries around the world in honor of this day. Globally, children continue to have limited access to clean water and hygiene supplies. UNICEF has supplied over 4 million cholera kits in countries like Haiti in order to ensure safe water and water purification. It is estimated that around 2040, children will be able to live in areas of high water stress and safe environments. Our next meeting will be after spring break, April 12!
