Meeting Recap: 3/8/23

Happy March everyone! Thank you to everyone who participated in our successful donation drive in collaboration with AALLY to help aid the victim of the Turkey and Syria earthquakes. We couldn't have done this without your support and we really appreciate it. Today, we covered a new theme for International Women's Day: DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality. This theme focuses on women around the world and their constant championing for the advancement of transformative technology and digital education. It highlights how technology is an important step to advancing rights for all women in this field. We watched a quick video of UN Women Goodwill Ambassador, Anne Hathaway, presenting a speech to call on leaders and declare urgency of the issue regarding paid parental leave and how much that impacts women in our society. Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, March 23! See you there :)
