Meeting Recap: 11/5

Hi everyone! We had our first meeting of November today. Here is a quick recap of our meeting:

1. We have a fundraiser at Menchie's on November 9th (Friday), from 10:00 AM - 11:00 PM. It is located at the Valencia Town Center (the mall), near Wokcano. Grab some frozen yogurt with your friends -- some of the proceeds will support our club! Here is a flyer you can show at the fundraiser:

2. Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF boxes are going to be collected on November 19th (two weeks from now). You can bring them in any time between now and then; just drop them off in Mr. McKee's room. One box is worth TWO service hours, and can be used for NHS hours as well!

3. November's monthly theme is health. Today, we watched this video to learn more about how UNICEF brings access to healthcare to vulnerable and underprivileged communities. If you want to learn more, click on this link!
