Meeting Recap: 10/22

Hi everyone! I apologize that this meeting recap is so late (again 😩) but here's a quick recap of Monday's meeting:

HERE is the link to the sign-in sheet, which also has shifts for the SCV Marathon. If you signed up to volunteer, please be sure to choose a shift. Also, keep bringing in your ToT boxes throughout October! We're keeping track of hours - each box is worth two hours and our goal is $800.

At Monday's meeting, we discussed International Day of the Girl. Here is a video we watched about the experiences of girls in rural Zambia. Although many girls in undeveloped countries are forced into early marriage, cannot go to school, and face demeaning stereotypes, UNICEF is working to empower women and girls.
