Meeting Recap 10/15/2020 !

UNICEF welcomed all to our second meeting of the year! Here, we officially kickstarted Trick or Treat with UNICEF with our GoFundMe page! The goal we have set is $1000, so let's do what we can to reach that goal by October 31st! For $5, it is 1 hour, and students receive a maximum of 3 hours. However, they can donate more than $15 if they wish!

We also introduced our mask and hand sanitizer fundraiser, where we are selling masks for $6 and hand sanitizers for $3!

We covered awareness days dedicated to UNICEF as its international organization, such as watching the video about Young Activists on Climate Change featuring no other than Greta Thunberg herself!

World Mental Health Day (10/10/2020) and the International Day of the Girl (10/11/2020) are also days within October that are crucial to UNICEF, so addition to watching videos about them, there were logistics discussed that were important for discussion.
