Meeting Recap! 03/18/2021

Today's meeting was a bit more special with our UNICEF community! We had some very important announcements, especially for those who would like to be more involved with UNICEF!

We announced that officer applications are officially open! The positions that are available include the following:

- Co-President (current juniors only)

- Vice Presidents (Communication and Finance)

- Social Media Director

- Arts Director

- Membership Director

They are officially due April 1st at 11:59pm, so please turn them in as soon as you can beforehand! We are planning on holding interviews for the respective positions you all apply for the week after spring break! We will also contact you separately if you turn in the application for the official date/time of your interview.

For today's special activity, we wrote letters of appreciation to Albertsons, Vons, and Pavilions grocery stores for continuing to support Special Olympics! If you still have not gotten the chance to turn in your letter, please email as soon as possible to valenciaunicef@gmail.com! Canva is the preferred platform to create these cards on, so we all opened Canva on our school email accounts and created the cards there!

We concluded with our usual exit ticket! Thank you so much, and we will see you all in a couple weeks!
