Meeting Recap: 10/15

Hi UNICEF members! Sorry this meeting recap is a little late -- here's what we did during Monday's meeting!

1. We picked assistant officers today! Congrats to Julia (Membership), Allison (Communications), Terra (Arts), and Clara (Finance). If you weren't chosen to be an assistant officer, don't worry; there will be many more opportunities to get involved and we will have officer applications next semester.

2. We watched a clip of BTS's speech at the UN General Assembly from a few weeks ago. Also, we discussed Mental Health Awareness Week, and what UNICEF is doing to help refugees struggling with mental health problems. HERE is the full video of the speech if you're interested! :)

3. UNICEF will be volunteering as a group at the SCV Marathon on November 4th! This is a great way to get service hours. If you're interested, sign up HERE. Keep working on your Trick-or-Treat boxes throughout October! You can bring them in to Mr. McKee's room whenever you want. Each box is worth 2 service hours!
