Meeting Recap: 9/30

Valencia UNICEF is getting ready to give back to our community very soon!

At our meeting, we have discussed about upcoming community service opportunities such as the annual SCV Marathon. We will be volunteering at water station #17 on November 3rd! There are directions to sign up through our website so please be on the lookout for that!

After announcements, we talked about the UN Climate Change Summit that took place only last week with one of society's most powerful voices, Greta Thunberg. This infamous climate activitist is breaking barriers, and we all sat together to watch a video that captured her "How Dare You" speech.

There is no meeting next week due to Fall Break! We hope everyone gets rest and have a fantastic week! Until next meeting!
