Meeting Recap 11/18

Valencia UNICEF had a meeting in respect of the incident that had taken place 11/14. We all had a moment of silence for Saugus High School and those who were affected by the event. Afterwards, we made the decision to move on and continue spreading awareness as one club together.

The month of November is Health Month. We have watched a video on UNICEF kids presenting us why immunization is important for us and how we can get immunization shots to other countries with less healthcare privileges.

Unfortunately, many people in countries such as Nigeria, Pakistan, and etc. We should all not take doctors and medical staff in America for granted, because we would not be able to receive shots.

We are winding down to the end of the year! Two weeks until finals!

We will be having a Christmas potluck party with UNICEF, but more information will be announced in our upcoming meeting on 12/02.
